Internationally recognised for their STEM endeavours, Macinley has developed many devices to aid humanity across sectors including, cancer treatment, water sanitation and renewable energy. Believing there is no better investment than in people, Macinley strives to foster curiosity in students and industry, motivating them as a role model and constantly encouraging exploration. At ANSTO, they work as a Health Physics Surveyor to provide hands on radiation protection, advice and monitoring services for a range of operational areas to ensure the safety of personnel on site. Macinley is also the co-founder of Passionately Curious, a not-for-profit which exists to provide students with equal access to STEM in order to improve the diversity of tomorrow’s STEM community, today.
