She has a profound understanding of radiochemistry and the behaviour of radioactive isotopes. She is skilled in using CFCS and CRS Pb-210 dating models for sediment cores. She is responsible for overseeing the lead-210 dating of sediment cores and plays a crucial role in assisting and supervising sample preparation, as well as developing the Pb age-depth model. Over the years, she has actively contributed to assisting numerous research collaborators from universities and AINSE with the lead-210 sediment dating method. Sabika's expertise in radiochemistry, alpha spectrometry and sediment dating significantly enhances the success of various research projects and collaborations.
