Samantha is a Senior Health Physicist with Radiation Protection Services. She joined ANSTO in 2017 and is responsible for providing effective radiation protection advice and services to a range of operational areas across ANSTO to ensure radiological safety and compliance with legislation and other regulatory requirements.
Before joining ANSTO, Samantha worked as a Senior Environmental Health Scientist for the Radiation Health Unit at Queensland Health, as a radiation safety consultant predominantly in the mining industry for Radiation Advice & Solutions, and as an Education Officer at CSIRO Education.
Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma in Science Communication, and has worked in the radiation protection industry in both the public and private sectors for 12 years.
