Radiation training courses have now resumed. To support the health and safety of our visitors and teams we have implemented a number of additional measures. Course Objective
Develop sufficient radiation protection knowledge and skills to recognise:
- the need for an operational and management framework for the safety and security of radioactive substances
- their radiation safety responsibilities when working in a controlled or supervised area with radioactive substances
Audience
Personnel that have operational or management responsibilities for radioactive substances as part of their work including at:
- research facilities, such as laboratory technicians, visiting researchers, post docs, or academics
- radiopharmaceutical production facilities, such as quality assurance and production workers
- hospitals, such as in nuclear medicine or oncology departments
