ANSTO’s National Deuteration Facility has been providing high-quality deuterated lipids used in the construction of cell membrane models to support research that improves our understanding of how the virus interacts with elements of the cell membrane, a relatively new area of investigation.

ANSTO STEAM Club for Girls

This 6-week program combines engaging hands-on activities with inquiry-based learning to inspire curiosity and help support the development of problem-solving in girls. Participants will have the opportunity to meet some of Australia’s leading female scientists and engineers!

Enthusiastically delivered by our qualified female educators, the program will provide a supportive environment to encourage girls to become confident and active learners.

ANSTO Hosts 10th RASCAP Meeting

This week, ANSTO hosted the 10th annual Regional Advisory Safety Committee for research reactors in Asia pacific (RASCAP). This a joint IAEA-Asian Nuclear Safety Network (ANSN) supported forum to foster networking and regional cooperation, and for facilitating use of competencies in the region to cover specific safety issues in research reactors.
