Before taking up her appointment at the Australian Synchrotron, Dr Cathy Harland was the ASRP (Australian Synchrotron Research Program) beamline scientist at XOR at the Advanced Photon Source in Chicago.

Dr Jian is involved in the study of accelerator optics and ion beam control, Ione beam interaction with different materials, IBA techniques and applications.

Rochelle Donohue is a dedicated science communicator. She has a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience, as well as a Bachelor of Education (Primary).

As a Senior Principal Research Scientist, Henk is participating in several projects applying nuclear techniques to better understand climate changes of the past.

Dean was born in Wales and completed a PhD in X-ray optics at the Daresbury and Brookhaven synchrotrons. His first job was building a surface science beamline at Elettra in Italy.

Eleanor is a crystallographer and instrument scientist helping researchers from all over the country use ultra-bright light to answer their scientific questions.

Kyle Brown has been working as a project engineer at ANSTO for 4 years and studied Mechatronic Engineering at UOW. He currently works as an I&C engineer and his experience is with plant automation through PLC coding and server management.
