Mark's role is to plan/manage, implement and test the control system of the Australian Synchrotron. He has a PhD in radiation physics from RMIT. His research resulted in the first stable plastic organic scintillator detector in the world. Since graduating Mark has been managing a small IT business servicing corporate clients. He also designed the electronics system for a set of animated puppets called Horace and Tina. The website for the puppets can be found at www.horaceandtina.com.au.
