Environmental scientists at ANSTO will contribute to major Antarctic research project in Antarctica funded by the Australian Research Council.

Whilst at ANSTO’s Australian Synchrotron today, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced new funding for the Australian Precision Medicine Enterprise (APME) Project. The Australian Government will contribute $23m in grant funding under the Manufacturing Collaboration Stream of the Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI) towards the $71.2m project.

This statement outlines the ways in which the events organised and run by ANSTO meet the goals outlined in the ANSTO Environmental Sustainability Strategy in the aim to reduce ANSTO’s environmental footprint.  

The 2025 Deaf Youth Science Camp is a chance for Deaf/hard-of-hearing young people (aged 12-17 years old) to participate in an immersive science experience. At the camp, participants will do hands-on science activities, go on tours of different science facilities, and meet Deaf STEM professionals.
