Block Coding: Design, program and play together!
Ages 6 - 8 (simple reading ability is required)
HALF-DAY (9am - 12pm)
Drag, drop and snap together colour-coded programming blocks to complete fun challenges. Kids will experiment and explore different software apps to get an understanding of how code works and what can be done with it.. They’ll have fun making their own programs and creating simple animations and games that friends can watch and play.
Additional Information
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the workshop at the ANSTO Discovery Centre.
- Workshop includes a recess and lunch break outside (weather permitting). Please bring a bag with sunscreen, snacks, a hat and drink bottle.
- All workshops are delivered by accredited educators with experience in science, engineering, programming and robotics.
